ABOUT THE HYDRO ATTACK SHARK RIDE

THE ULTIMATE BLEND OF SHARK AND MACHINE: Hydro Attack is the world's first commercial operator of the amazing Seabreacher X watercraft. 

DURATION
At least 15 minutes on the water per shark rider. 

1- 2 passengers (2 sharks) - Please allow up to 25 minutes from check-in for the whole experience.

3-4 passengers (2 sharks) - Please allow up to 40 minutes from check-in for the whole experience.

It's time to scream in the shark machine. Operating from our berth in central Queenstown we will take you on an adrenaline-packed ride out on stunning Lake Wakatipu. Like a stunt plane on the water - sit back in the cockpit and get ready to feel the g-forces as our expert pilot gives you an experience you'll never forget. Looking through the F-16 fighter grade glass of the semi-submersible shark you will see the sky disappear as your pilot descends into a long dive under the water only to then breach the surface and launch the entire 6 metres of the shark in the air. We can roll on a 90′ angle, do tight doughnut turns and reach top speeds of 80 kph on water and 40 kph while diving underwater. 

Each shark takes one passenger so trips are one-on-one with our pilot. One things for sure, a ride in a Hydro Attack shark gets the heart pumping. So there is only one question left.

NO EXPERIENCE OR LICENCE REQUIRED
First-time jet ski drivers are welcome. Our experienced and friendly guides will give you all the instruction you need to feel comfortable and safe self-driving your jet ski on the water and then accompany you on their own jet ski for the duration of the trip offering advice and insider knowledge about the area.

SAFETY FIRST
Jet Ski Tours Queenstown prides itself on having systems and procedures in place that meet, and in most cases exceed, the existing industry and official safety standards.  Many of our customers have never ridden a jet ski before, however after our on-shore instruction and safety briefing, on-water tuition and ongoing supervision from our qualified guide, you’ll return from your tour feeling like a jet ski pro.

MUST BRING ON THE DAY:

A credit card and ID (sorry no debit cards) for the jet ski rental form

Clothes and footwear you can get wet and suitable for the weather

Sunglasses

A windbreaker or waterproof jacket is highly recommended

JET SKI TOUR RESTRICTIONS:

The minimum age to drive is 18 years old

The recommended age for children to ride as passengers is 8 years and above. Please speak to our team before booking if you have children under this age. A Parent or Legal Guardian must complete a waiver form for all children 17 years and under riding as passengers.

The MAXIMUM combined weight for a double jet ski is 180kg combined for both driver and passenger and 110kg for the driver (due to weight transfer). This is due to increased risk of flipping the jet skis with two people.

The MAXIMUM weight for a single jet ski with a driver only is 120kg.

Cameras, go pros and mobile phones can be brought on this trip at your own risk. If you drop it in the water it's gone.

Customers need to understand basic English

Life-jackets are provided but customers must be comfortable in the water
